Eagles Lock Down AJ Brown with Three-Year, $96 Million Extension

Brown Inks Long-Term Deal, Ending Speculation of Departure

Six-Time Pro Bowler to Remain a Key Piece in Philadelphia's Offense

The Philadelphia Eagles have secured the future of their star wide receiver, AJ Brown, with a three-year, $96 million contract extension, the team announced on Tuesday. The deal comes less than two years after the Eagles acquired Brown via trade from the Tennessee Titans, and it puts an end to months of speculation about his potential departure as a free agent.

Brown, who turns 27 this year, has emerged as one of the NFL's most prolific receivers since being drafted by the Titans in 2019. He has made six consecutive Pro Bowls and has been named to the NFL All-Pro team three times. In 2022, he led the Eagles in receiving yards (1,496) and touchdowns (11), helping guide the team to the NFC Championship Game.

"AJ is a cornerstone of our offense," said Eagles general manager Howie Roseman. "His production on the field speaks for itself, but he's also a great teammate and a leader. We're thrilled to have him in Philadelphia for the long haul."

Brown's contract extension is the largest ever given to a wide receiver by the Eagles. It underscores the team's commitment to building a championship-caliber roster and its belief in Brown's continued success.

"I'm so grateful for this opportunity," said Brown. "I love Philadelphia, and I'm excited to continue my career here. I believe we have something special here, and I can't wait to see what we can accomplish together."
