Rangers have been hit with a brand new injury blow as their list of absentees continues to grow.

The Ibrox club confirmed on Tuesday that Ianis Hagi will be out for up to six weeks with a knee injury.

The Romanian winger picked up the knock in the club's 2-0 win over Dundee on Sunday.

Hagi's injury is a major blow to Rangers, who are already without a number of key players.

Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Jack, Filip Helander, and Kemar Roofe are all currently out injured.

The mounting injury list is a major concern for Rangers manager Steven Gerrard, who is facing a tough run of fixtures in the coming weeks.

Rangers face Dundee United in the Scottish League Cup semi-final on Saturday, before hosting Braga in the Europa League on Thursday.

They then face Celtic in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.

Gerrard will be hoping that some of his injured players can return to fitness in time for these important matches.

However, the growing list of absentees is a major worry for the Rangers boss.
